"Why is he here?" Sara asks.

"I don't know," Yugi replies, "the last anyone saw of him he was crossing the divide."

"True." The two look upon their house guest. The red tipped hair, blond bangs, and blond streaks running through the black hair was just how they remembered. Everything was same the crown, the outfit, even the eye color. Atem's chest rises and falls slowly as his hand is still grasping the puzzle.

'Why are you here?' Yugi thinks as he chases his wife out to go greet their daughter, 'you shouldn't be here. Although even sleeping you still look like a king I hope you're the same Atem I knew.' The pants straighten themselves out as he gets up to pace around the room. The urge to go on another adventure was strong, it always had been but he had the face the music. He was getting older and his family came first; even friends didn't come close. He smiles as he remembers fondly the duels they did and the adventures they went on. He secretly opens a small compartment in his daughter's room that contained the deck they built together. It had taken awhile but he managed to rebuild it for an occasion just like this. The amethyst eyes of his look over as the door creaks open to reveal Krissy standing there. For a moment she looked like her mother.

"Dad," she says, "why is there a very hot guy in my bed? And why does he look like Atem?"

"Well sweetie," Yugi replies, "that is Atem and we didn't have any other place to put him. If you want he can sleep-"

"He can stay!"

Yugi chuckles he figured she wouldn't object. "No second thoughts about it?"

"None, he can sleep in my room!" she replies.

Yugi motions her closer to see his friend and her crush better. He can see the want present in her face but he also sees the fear and hesitation. He watches the indecision and conflict continue until she finally gets fed up and walks over.
He looks like I pictured him to be, she thinks to herself as she admires the sleeping man. She runs her fingers a little through the hair checking to see if it was real and then softly her fingers trace his face. A bright blush comes across her face when she realized what she was doing. "When will he wake up?" she asks as she tries to hide the blush.

"I don't know so let's leave him be," Yugi answers chuckling to himself. Girls and their crushes, he thinks, girls and their crushes… His eyes light up and his smile broadens when Sara enters into view.  Very quietly a smoke creeps out of one of the vents. It slowly billows out wrapping around Yugi. He feels a firm hand grab his shoulder. "Who are you?" he asks. No answer is given as his world goes black. His legs buckle forcing him forward into the smoke making him slowly disappear. A low cackling is heard when Yugi has completely vanished.
