Isis watched as the jars were opened and her creations were engulfed in a beautiful white light. The bodies grew warm to the touch and their cheeks turned into shades of roses.
“What do you plan to do with them?”

“Return them to the land of the living, Atem can finally have what he never got to have the first time.”

“And Bakura?”

“We’ll have to watch and see what he does with his new found life.”

Krissy hadn’t left her room since Jono had brought her home. The water was cloudy and the daisies were dead. She noticed that even Mahado had gone as well, and it hurt to be alone. Jono would visit daily and just sit there waiting for her to say something. She was grateful he didn’t insult Atem, and he didn’t push. Her fingers traced the broken necklace recalling how warm the giver felt. Whether she wanted to admit it or not he gave her what she had asked, just never verbally. Still she thought, it would have been nice to hear.

A soft and gentle knock sounded through the door. She mustered up the strength to see who it was. Standing before her and holding to armfuls of daisies was the one person she thought was gone forever. At first she thought it was some cruel trick her eyes were playing on her, and then her mind jumped to a friend of hers, or her father. Her mind rolled until the olive skinned man spoke, “Hello Krissy.”

“A-A-A-Atem?” This was impossible, and defied all known laws of nature. Dartz told her what had happened, and she took it numbly. But, then how was he standing here?

“Yes, it’s really me. I’m not some clone, honest, or a trick. Baka is back too…” The last words came out as a Coptic-Japanese mix of discontentment. She flung her arms around him overcome by every feeling in the world. He chuckled as he returned her affection happily, lowly he whispered into her ear and her brightest smile came across her face.
